english project 4

garañón, a project for English

Next April we are going to spend five days in Garañón. I'm sure we'll have such a great time together that we'll always remember that school trip. But ... just in case ... why don't we write our experiences in a blog? That way, we will always be able to look at the pictures we took and read about the things we did.

tasks
  1. Make groups of four.
  2. Decide which role each member of the group is going to take.
  3. During and after the schol trip, do the tasks assigned to your role.

roles

photographer

  • During the school trip you can take as many pictures as you want, but then you must select about ten pictures.
  • After the trip, you must meet the other photographers with your 10 pictures. You all must select about 20 pictures.
  • From these 20 pictures, each photographer must describe 2 (what the weather was like, what people were wearing, what people were doing).
  • You all together must correct spelling and grammar mistakes.

evaluation

At the end of the project, you will be evaluated by your teacher and your classmates. We'll use these evaluation forms:

teacher's
student's

notes

  • Students who are not going to Garañón will have to do a similar project. They can talk about a trip or journey they have made, and include some pictures with a description of what they were doing in the pictures.
  • Remember that you mustn't publish pictures of you if your parents don't aprove. If there is a picture you really like, you can remove your face from it before publishing.
